UPDATE: GRENADE FINALLY AVAILABLE!
Synopsis of new content: Uh it's available. Really, finally
available. And the short delay can be used to inflict these awesome airbursts
that scatter pellets over a very wide range
Wow, It's finally done! We're happy to announce that our
grenade is finally ready for sale. It turns out that having a few dozen
prototypes that work really well are only a bunch of examples of anecdotal
success. Refining a product to the point where you can make fifty in a row and
not have to futz with most of them is an extra chunk of development.
Anyhow, our Tornado Grenade is finally here. It has some pretty cool features:
• Propane powered! Can be configured for HFC134a too.
• Completely re-useable. Just reload bbs and gas!
• Blasts 180x 6mm pellets
• Full 3D coverage. Not a shotgun blast or a disc distribution. A full spherical scatter!
• Consistent 3s timer!
• Tough design survives gazillions of throws! We don't know how many blasts to failure, but we'll keep counting.
• No loose parts to lose. Keep track of the pull pin though.
• Easy to quickly render safe for safezone handling.
• More exclaimation marks than EVER!
We've got five videos to show off our grenade. Two are new! Video 4 shows how
you can use the short delay feature to effect airbursts which have a very wide
scatter and can blast opposition behind partial cover. It's also effective over
tall grass which would eat pellets shot from a ground burst. We've also posted
an instructional video so you check out how to load our grenades.
Thanks for looking over our product. We hope that you'll find that it adds an
interesting new dimension to your game.
I hate to have to say this, but it is quite important that you also pick up a
bottle of grenade oil from us. One bottle contains enough oil for over 500
grenade blasts so it's not included with Tornado grenades. It wouldn't make
sense to have 1500 blasts of oil for a group of 3 grenades so we offer oil
separately here: Tornado Grenade Oil. We did a lot of testing with various r/c car
shock oils and we did not get as consistent results as with the oil we source
from an industrial supplier. It's a bit of a pain, but if you want consistent
time delays we really have to recommend lubricant that we supply.
